Salary: $90,000 - $140,000 USD

What you will do

• Perform fire protection engineering services including life safety code consulting and fire alarm/mass notification design.
• Develop plans, specifications, and inspection reports ensuring accuracy and adherence to professional standards.
• Assist in resolving design problems through field investigations, inspections, and detailed design computations.
• Identify and reference applicable codes and standards for building code and egress analyses.
• Apply engineering calculations for building area, sprinkler water supplies, and smoke control equipment.
• Prepare and produce CAD documentation for project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or higher in an engineering field.
• 3-6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Must be local to Austin, Texas and able to work onsite in the office.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for reporting and client interaction.
