What you will do

• Review architectural and engineering designs as well as fire protection system shop drawings for 50+ buildings.
• Perform construction inspections and issue final occupancy permits.
• Witness acceptance tests for sprinkler system modifications and fire alarms.
• Evaluate building conditions via life safety and hazard analysis surveys.
• Provide expert technical guidance based on NFPA codes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Protection Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of general experience in Fire Protection.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineers (PE) License in Fire Protection.
