What you will do

  • Track and collect past-due monies and pending appeals with a minimum of 20-25 reach-outs per day.
  • Manage a portfolio of 300+ active accounts and invoices.
  • Prepare, update, and analyze daily collection reports.
  • Serve as a professional liaison between the firm and clients to resolve balances.
  • Maintain accurate collection notes in accordance with firm guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to improve client relations and resolve payment issues.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of collection experience in a professional services firm.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and 10-key.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a calm disposition in a high-stress environment.
  • Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience working in an insurance defense firm.
