Project Controller

What you will do

• Deliver monthly portfolio financials (actuals, accruals, forecasts, variances) with accurate, actionable explanations.
• Continuously improve forecast quality by identifying risks/opportunities and challenging underlying assumptions.
• Ensure transparency and governance versus investment cases, including clear explanations of deviations and their impact.
• Secure correct financial allocation (Capex vs. Opex) aligned with Group Finance principles and reporting standards.
• Reduce surprises in month-end and steering forums by communicating financial risks early.
• Increase portfolio controlling maturity by improving reporting structures/templates and enabling stronger insights via Power BI and automation.

Requirements

• Experience in controlling/FP&A, project controlling, or portfolio reporting, ideally in an IT organization.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with IT systems (Power BI and ERP knowledge is an advantage).
• Fluent Danish (or another Scandinavian language) and business-level English.
• Ability to collaborate across Programme/Project Managers, IT PMO, and finance stakeholders, while challenging assumptions constructively.
• Structured, analytical, and proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and predictability.
