Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; Workplace: On-site
Salary: $120,000β$190,000 per year, plus bonus, benefits, and equity for regular employees.

What you will do
- Lead manufacturing engineering activities for advanced ground mobility and vehicle systems.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, work instructions, production flows, quality standards, and inspection methods.
- Support chassis, structural, suspension, braking, wheel, axle, driveline, hydraulic, pneumatic, trailer, and mobility-platform manufacturing.
- Support vehicle integration, testing, production readiness reviews, supplier qualification, process validation, and transition of new products into manufacturing.
- Lead DFM/DFA reviews, root cause investigations, corrective actions, failure analysis, and reliability improvements.
- Collaborate with design engineering, production, quality, supply chain, and test engineering teams while mentoring junior manufacturing engineers.
Requirements
- 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in automotive, mobility, heavy equipment, or defense vehicle systems.
- Bachelorβs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with prototype manufacturing in a startup or rapid-growth environment.
- Experience with vehicle integration and assembly, hydraulics and pneumatics, chassis and braking systems, and mechanical production systems.
- Knowledge of manufacturing process development, production scaling, DFM/DFA principles, root cause analysis, and corrective action methodologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Nice to have
- Automotive OEM, defense vehicle, off-road vehicle, or prototype-to-production transition experience.
- Knowledge of welding, fabrication, structural assembly, lean manufacturing, and production optimization.
- Experience with ERP/MES systems, manufacturing data analysis, CAD software, or quality standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.
- Strong project management skills and experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
