TL;DR

Senior Director, HRBP (HRBP): Serve as the senior HR business partner for Shared Development Studios, driving the full people agenda with an accent on labor relations, global HR delivery, and scaling HRBP leadership across a geographically distributed, unionized, early-career workforce. Focus on building and leading an HRBP team, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements, and operationalizing talent, performance, compensation, and DEI programs at scale.

What you will do

  • Act as the senior HRBP for Shared Development Studios, partnering with the SVP of SDS and executive stakeholders to drive the full people agenda.
  • Lead, develop, and scale an HRBP team, providing strategic guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
  • Own labor relations for SDS: manage union relationships, support contract interpretation, and ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
  • Lead global HR strategy and execution across multiple geographies, partnering with regional HR teams, COEs, and legal counsel.
  • Drive HR program cycles including performance evaluation, compensation planning, promotions, job leveling, and annual workforce planning.
  • Oversee employee relations and compliance, diagnose systemic ER issues, and ensure consistent policy application across employment types and labor agreements.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive HRBP experience, including at least 3 years at the Senior Director level (or equivalent) supporting 1,000+ employee organizations.
  • Required experience in labor relations: working directly with unions, interpreting collective bargaining agreements, and managing grievance and arbitration processes.
  • Global HR experience across multiple regions, with working knowledge of employment law and HR practices in North America and at least one international market.
  • Experience supporting high-volume, early-career, or transactional workforces at scale, including onboarding and engagement for repetitive/milestone-driven work.
  • Proven ability to build and lead HRBP teams and deliver consistent HRBP support across a distributed client group.
  • Strong executive partnership skills to influence at the SVP level and above, with excellent written and verbal communication.
