Location: Hybrid (San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY). Staff are expected to be in the office at least 25% of the time.

Salary: $175,000 - $245,000 USD

What you will do

• Own end-to-end execution of cyclical performance programs including pulses, promotions, and biannual review cycles.
• Design systems to produce year-round performance signals to inform succession and critical talent identification.
• Partner cross-functionally with People Services, People Products, and People Analytics to optimize tooling and data insights.
• Iterate on program frameworks such as calibration, rating constructs, and promotion criteria.
• Lead program redesigns and change management, including stakeholder alignment and rollout communications.
• Develop and deliver enablement training to help managers run cycles confidently and consistently.

Requirements

• Strong program management skills and operational rigor for running complex multi-month cycles.
• Experience shaping performance tooling such as Workday, Lattice, or CultureAmp.
• Ability to build manager enablement that drives behavioral change in performance and talent conversations.
• Systems thinking approach, treating performance programs as signal-generating systems.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be based in or be able to work from the San Francisco or New York City offices.

Nice to have

• 7+ years of experience designing and owning performance management or talent review programs, preferably during rapid headcount growth.
