What you will do

• Perform hardware installation, configuration, and testing of data center equipment.
• Execute server and network upgrades within a production environment.
• Install and manage fiber optic and copper cabling according to industry standards.
• Conduct server and Layer 2 network configurations.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware and connectivity issues.
• Assist with inventory management, asset tracking, and data center expansion builds.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience supporting Production Data Centers.
• Proficiency with command line interfaces and familiarity with Linux.
• Hands-on experience with fiber optic cabling and power distribution units (PDUs).
• Understanding of server, storage, and network technologies.
• Ability to work on-site in Reno, NV.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale Production Data Centers.
• Knowledge of routing systems such as Cisco, Linux, and Arista.
• Industry certifications like CCNA, CompTIA+, or Linux certifications.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or GoLang.
