Location: Hybrid role based in either Manchester, UK or Hamburg, Germany.
Salary: £44,000–£53,000 per annum plus bonus.

What you will do
- Identify, assess, and onboard suppliers to meet operational and development requirements.
- Negotiate and manage procurement of BOM materials, including metal commodities and chemicals.
- Drive cost-reduction targets and optimize supplier performance in quality, delivery, and technology.
- Partner with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams to align sourcing strategies with global objectives.
- Manage POs, consignment, and contracts while ensuring continuous supply to manufacturing sites.
- Develop and improve end-to-end procurement processes and internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Excellent English communication skills for cross-country collaboration.
- Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Nice to have
- Experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Specific experience working with chemicals, gases, or technical procurement.
