What you will do

• Develop and execute end-to-end sourcing strategies including market engagement, tendering, and supplier selection to deliver cost savings and value.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships and contract lifecycles, ensuring legal, operational, and commercial compliance.
• Lead complex negotiations, contract renewals, and supply chain risk mitigation to ensure business continuity.
• Drive procurement performance reporting using data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Act as a commercial partner to Finance, Operations, and Executive leadership teams to guide value-driven decisions.
• Mentor and develop the procurement team while promoting industry best practices and governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in procurement, supply chain, business, or a related field.
• Significant professional experience in senior sourcing or procurement management roles.
• Proven track record of delivering strategic sourcing initiatives and managing high-value contracts.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with excellent negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Deep understanding of UK procurement practices and commercial governance.
• Must be available for an in-person interview at an hirify.global location.

Nice to have

• CIPS Level 5 or 6 certification or membership in a relevant professional body.
• Experience with ERP and e-procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, Ariba, or Jaggaer.
• Background in indirect spend, professional services, IT, construction, or manufacturing.
• Experience in public sector or highly regulated governance-driven environments.
