Salary: $140,000–$215,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of SRE/Platform engineers in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Ensure high levels of reliability, uptime, and performance for large-scale distributed systems.

• Manage incident response, facilitate blameless postmortems, and own reliability strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cloud-native reliability patterns.

Requirements

• Must be able to work 2+ days per week in the Sunnyvale office.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on reliability and infrastructure.
• 3+ years of hands-on management experience leading SRE or Platform engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of SRE principles including SLOs, SLAs, and error budgeting.
• Proficiency in at least one major cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong background in incident management and large-scale distributed systems.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Golang.
• Experience with Kubernetes at scale and service mesh technologies.
• Familiarity with data streaming platforms like Apache Kafka or Apache Flink.
• Advanced observability experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK/Splunk.
• Experience with chaos engineering and resilience validation.
