What you will do
- Build and lead a company-wide Competitive Intelligence (CI) function and sharpen competitive focus across the enterprise
- Develop a network of external sources and internal experts to source intelligence
- Analyze market trends and competitive activities, then distill insights to inform growth strategy, go-to-market, and product plans
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product to identify competitive challenges and opportunities, including validating claims and countering competitor messaging
- Create and maintain a competitive scorecard and embed CI into sales processes (including win/loss and customer satisfaction insights)
- Manage third-party research vendors and identify potential M&A and partnership targets aligned with growth strategy
Requirements
- 10+ years in market and competitive intelligence roles within B2B-focused organizations
- Experience building CI functions from the ground up (plus)
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate across business units
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in fast-paced environments
- Location: Remote in the USA
