TL;DR

AVP, Strategic Insights (Fintech): Leading strategic intelligence and insights roadmap for the Corporate Strategy team with an accent on macro-trend analysis, competitive positioning, and enterprise value creation. Focus on building strategic narratives, conducting complex financial modeling, and presenting actionable insights to the Executive Leadership team.

Location: Must be based in New York City, USA (Hybrid schedule)

Salary: $172,000 – $335,000

What you will do

  • Identify and analyze macro, industry, regulatory, and technology trends to inform long-term strategy.
  • Develop competitive intelligence frameworks to assess market positioning and platform advantages.
  • Quantify enterprise value creation opportunities, including TAM/SAM analyses and ROIC considerations.
  • Build strategic narratives and enterprise scenarios to support executive decision-making.
  • Leverage AI-enabled research methods to produce high-quality landscape assessments and market maps.
  • Lead and develop a small team of strategy professionals to deliver outstanding insights.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in finance, strategy, consulting, or banking.
  • Demonstrable expertise in structured problem solving and strategic financial modeling.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex data.
  • Must be based in New York City or able to work from the office.
  • Understanding of capital markets, financial services, and fintech.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and intellectually curious mindset.
