TL;DR
Sr. Account Manager - Cybersecurity (Cybersecurity Sales): Selling security services and technology solutions to new and prospective accounts in Ohio while owning and coordinating the full sales cycle and leading cross-functional execution of multi-year strategic account management plans. Focus on building trusted executive relationships, developing security strategies tied to client risk, and running disciplined pipeline/forecasting and MEDDICC-aligned sales execution.
Location: Field-based; ideal candidate located in the Greater Cincinnati Area. Working remotely from anywhere in the Atlantic region.
Salary: $140,000 – $250,000+ annually (base + uncapped bonus plan).

What you will do
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic account management plans for top accounts based on client business, technology, and security goals.
- Identify client core security concerns and align solutions to mitigate cybersecurity risks, coordinating technical, services, and leadership resources.
- Build and manage a large sales pipeline (ideally 3x assigned targets) and achieve/exceed gross margin targets.
- Own multi-quarter forecasts with high accuracy, currency, and integrity.
- Execute sales with discipline aligned to Force Management principles, including MEDDICC and Command of the Message.
- Drive client satisfaction through early-year goal alignment and quarterly reviews with engagement of leadership as needed.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of product or services-based sales experience, ideally in a technology company.
- Proven ability to build and execute territory and account prospecting/expansion plans and exceed quotas.
- Experience engaging cross-functional resources (sales, pre-sales technical support, and other support personnel).
- Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with key executives and sponsors.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and negotiation experience.
- Experience selling complex, multi-year hardware, software, services, and financing solutions; knowledge of IT Infrastructure, IT Security, and Risk & Compliance markets.
