What you will do

• Serve as the enterprise architect and technical authority for the M365 platform, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Power Platform.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement robust governance, data loss prevention, and compliance policies using Microsoft Purview and Defender.
• Design and maintain secure identity and access models using Entra ID, conditional access, and MFA.
• Drive platform reliability through automation, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Lead the secure enablement and governance of M365 Copilot and collaboration tools.
• Mentor engineering staff and provide architectural guidance for enterprise-wide changes and migrations.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise collaboration or workplace engineering.
• 5+ years of deep, hands-on Microsoft 365 experience.
• Expert knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.
• Strong proficiency in Entra ID, PowerShell automation, and Microsoft Graph API.
• Proven experience supporting large, regulated enterprise environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with tenant-to-tenant consolidation and large-scale migrations.
• Background in financial services, insurance, or healthcare industries.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and device compliance concepts.
• Microsoft Certifications such as MS-102 or SC-300.
