Principal Product Application Engineer (Diodes & Transistors)

hirify.global develops and supplies semiconductor products, including diodes and transistors, for automotive, industrial, and consumer applications.

What you will do

• Define application strategy and manage application knowledge for the Diodes & Transistors portfolio.
• Qualify hirify.global products against competing solutions and quantify their technical benefits.
• Lead product requirements based on application and customer insights.
• Represent the application perspective in technical committees and standardization groups while maintaining contacts with automotive OEMs, reference design houses, and industry customers.
• Translate application expertise into customer requirement specifications and support a future-proof product portfolio.
• Conduct product investigations and circuit analysis, set up demo boards, and represent the product group at trade fairs.

Requirements

• University degree in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry or a related business.
• Development and engineering experience with hardware design knowledge.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills in English.
• Customer-focused, results-oriented, entrepreneurial approach with strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience working in multicultural and international teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive, industrial, or consumer electronics.
• Simulation and measurement knowledge.
• German language skills.
