Senior Research & Development Engineer (Electronic Ceramics)

What you will do

• Develop and improve non-linear resistor products and related manufacturing processes.
• Drive technology development in electronic ceramics, focusing on ceramic thermistors and high-performance applications.
• Develop next-generation thermistors from early-stage concepts through industrialization and production release.
• Lead multidisciplinary R&D projects with clear objectives, technical validation, and timely execution.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Process Engineering, Purchasing, suppliers, research institutes, and other external partners.
• Apply quality management procedures aligned with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in product development, process engineering, manufacturing, or technical product optimization.
• Strong analytical mindset, technical curiosity, structured problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate complex challenges into practical solutions.
• Collaborative communication skills and the ability to work across functions and cultures.
• Professional fluency in German and English is required.
• Willingness to work in an international environment and travel when required.

Nice to have

• Experience with electronic ceramics, multilayer ceramic technologies, or MLCC technology.
• Experience with data analysis and statistical evaluation methods.
