PCB Prototype & Validation Engineer (Power Electronics)

Location: Erlangen, Bavaria, Germany; full-time onsite

What you will do

• Realize prototypes of PCB solutions, supporting functions, and PCB subassemblies.
• Commission and test prototype hardware.
• Perform electrical and thermal measurements for commissioning, evaluation, and performance optimization.
• Manage testing activities including troubleshooting, performance characterization, and lifetime evaluation.
• Create and present documentation and training materials for measurements and results.
• Coordinate and maintain the laboratory environment and testing equipment.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
• Professional experience developing, prototyping, and testing PCB-based power electronic components and systems.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, function generators, high-performance probes, and impedance analyzers.
• Structured and proactive working style with a strong interest in hands-on engineering and laboratory work.
• CV must be submitted in English.
