Senior System Engineer (Integrated Systems)

What you will do

• Lead the development of integrated systems combining DC fast chargers, battery energy storage systems, transformers, and renewable energy sources.
• Define system architecture, topology, power and energy sizing, modularity, and skid or container construction concepts.
• Develop power-flow logic, load-management strategies, and SCADA and monitoring requirements.
• Lead system-level integration of medium-voltage transformers, low-voltage distribution, BESS, chargers, and renewable energy sources.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, grid codes, functional safety, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Coordinate outsourced engineering, define system validation, and oversee laboratory testing.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a similar subject.
• Strong experience in system engineering or architecture for complex energy or power-electronics-based systems.
• Good knowledge of grid integration, BESS, SCADA/EMS, and compliance processes.
• Proven experience in technical leadership or people management.
• Structured systems-level thinking and strong communication skills.
• Fluent English required. Italian and/or German are advantageous.
