Product Intern (Fintech)

TL;DR

Product Intern (Fintech): Supporting the Money Movement product team in driving product evolution and day-to-day operations with an accent on market research, data analysis, and stakeholder collaboration. Focus on defining requirements, analyzing user feedback, and contributing to the product roadmap for hirify.global e-Transfer services.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Toronto, Canada (Hybrid role).

Salary: $22–$25 per hour.

What you will do

• Support the product team in daily activities across squads, sales, engineering, and marketing.
• Assist in early-stage strategy development for hirify.global e-Transfer across retail and business sectors.
• Conduct market research and analyze user feedback to identify product improvement opportunities.
• Define product requirements and support the delivery of corporate objectives.
• Work with large datasets to visualize insights and assess emerging themes.
• Prepare documentation and research reports as requested by the product squad.

Requirements

• Currently completing an undergraduate degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Econometrics, Data Science, or a related field at a Canadian institution.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Google Analytics.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment.
• Familiarity with product development processes and agile methodologies.
