Salary: $78,167 - $103,855

What you will do

• Lead business requirements capture for software development teams using ALM tools like Jira.
• Collaborate with business users, IT, and leadership to document functional and technical specifications.
• Manage the product backlog, perform story decomposition, and define acceptance criteria.
• Conduct user interviews and facilitate sessions to develop business process models.
• Lead and mentor junior analysts while coordinating with systems engineers to assess technical impact.
• Manage risks, issues, and change control processes per established organizational policies.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance.
• 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies.
• Master’s degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline.
• Expertise with JIRA tools and advanced proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for translating complex technical topics to non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with VA’s Veterans Independence Program (VIP) or VA SQA Testing.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
• Experience working for Federal Health Agencies (VA, DHA, HHS).
• Knowledge of healthcare billing and claims processing applications.
