Sr. Business Analyst (IT)

Salary: $105,000 - $112,000 annually

What you will do

• Coordinate with business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements and ensure IT designs meet end-user needs.
• Analyze business and technical processes to develop new or modified business information systems.
• Document product/service requirements and develop test procedures to ensure user requests are fulfilled.
• Collaborate with business partners to define project scope, prioritize requirements, and track customer needs.
• Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to guide scrum team execution.
• Interface between systems architects/programmers and users to ensure clear communication of requirements.

Requirements

• Must be located within the Continental United States (CONUS) and able to work fully remotely.
• Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of experience or equivalent.
• Extensive experience with Jira, SharePoint, Confluence, and Microsoft Suite.
• Experience gathering requirements, writing documentation, and working with developers.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
• Experience managing a team of Business Analysts and Technical Writers.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting backend integrations without GUI interfaces.
• Exposure to VA Corporate Database, MPI, VA Profile Database, and API services in VA network.
• Experience with VA and other Federal Agencies.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and VA Veteran-Focused Integration Process (VIP).
• Demonstrated experience in a remote work environment.
