What you will do

• Take ownership of in-person event execution, including setup, on-site coordination, and breakdown.
• Act as the primary representative and leader on-site, managing relationships with venues, nonprofit partners, and corporate clients.
• Manage guest check-in processes and ensure a welcoming environment.
• Problem-solve operational issues such as supply shortages, staffing delays, or technical challenges.
• Provide consistent updates, photos, and videos to the central Events Team.
• Handle physical event materials, including loading, repacking, and shipping supplies.

Requirements

• Must be based in Palo Alto, CA.
• Fluency in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in managing complex, large-scale, and executive-level events.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, on a per-event contract basis.
• Physical ability to lift, slide, and carry up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Resourcefulness and ability to remain calm and solutions-minded in high-pressure situations.
