Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000

What you will do

  • Manage comprehensive event logistics including site selection, room sets, AV, and F&B.
  • Coordinate vendor solicitation, RFP processes, and contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and maintain event budgets against spending limits.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for various client events and provide support for other team projects.
  • Ensure post-event billing accurately reflects pre-event estimates.
  • Maintain department files and historical documentation for all managed events.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States
  • 3-7 years of professional event management experience.
  • Experience in association or corporate markets and multi-client environments.
  • Proficiency in creating event specifications and managing event budgets.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to deliver white-glove VIP customer service.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time in 4-5 day blocks.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Cvent or Map Your Show.
  • CMP certification.
