What you will do

• Manage trading relationships with a portfolio of merchant and house builder customers.
• Implement growth activities including branch staff training and merchandising.
• Coordinate between merchant sales staff and internal project teams to support targeted business.
• Monitor and report on competitor activity and market trends.
• Manage customer complaints and resolve issues to maintain service standards.
• Develop and track commercial KPIs for assigned accounts.

Requirements

• Must hold a clean driver's license and be comfortable driving 20,000–30,000 miles per year.
• Proven sales experience is essential.
• Understanding of the construction process and builders' merchant operations.
• Ability to manage transactional processes from enquiry through to payment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
