Manager, US Client Onboarding, L&G; – Asset Management, America

Location: Chicago, United States; hybrid

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 yearly, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Manage the day-to-day work of an onboarding team of approximately nine full-time employees.
• Oversee client, product, and counterparty onboarding to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
• Track and prioritize the onboarding pipeline, capacity, workloads, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
• Partner with Investments, Distribution, Legal, Compliance, Client Service Operations, and global onboarding teams.
• Act as an escalation point for onboarding issues, risks, and delivery challenges.
• Support hiring, training, team development, operational controls, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of investment products and onboarding processes within asset management.
• Previous experience managing or supervising teams in the investment management industry.
• Experience in onboarding, implementation, or client service operations.
• Strong organization, communication, collaboration, and prioritization skills.
• Experience managing operational processes and driving team-level improvements.
