Salary: EUR 65,000 - EUR 75,000 yearly

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for AI-driven features.
• Build production-grade Python applications integrating AI models and services.
• Work with a primarily Python stack alongside legacy PHP in monolithic and microservice architectures.
• Solve complex problems across video processing, content management, creator workflows, and platform scalability.
• Produce technical specifications, participate in code reviews, and drive engineering best practices (testing, documentation, observability).

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience with production systems at scale.
• Strong Python experience; experience with PHP or willingness to work on legacy PHP codebases.
• Solid backend fundamentals: APIs, databases, caching, queuing systems, and distributed systems.
• Experience with modern backend architecture: distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; containerization with Docker.
• English is mandatory (team daily working language).

Nice to have

• Comfort using AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) for prototyping, debugging, testing, or documentation.
• Startup or production-company experience with limited resources.
• French knowledge.
