What you will do
- Design and build scalable backend systems and orchestration frameworks for real-time AI Agents.
- Architect systems for agent memory, context management, and state persistence across interactions.
- Implement low-latency inference pipelines integrating LLMs, SLMs, and external tools.
- Develop evaluation (evals) frameworks and continuous improvement loops for production AI agents.
- Optimize event-driven, asynchronous workflows and robust API layers using REST and gRPC.
- Collaborate with Applied AI/ML teams to productionize models and translate customer workflows into agentic systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend engineering, distributed systems, or platform engineering.
- Proven track record of building high-scale, production-grade backend systems.
- Strong expertise in real-time processing, streaming, or event-driven architectures.
- Proficiency in API design (REST, gRPC) and microservices architectures.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling for high-scale systems.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
Nice to have
- Experience with LLMs, conversational AI, or RAG pipelines in production.
- Familiarity with agent frameworks, tool calling, and multi-step reasoning systems.
- Experience building vector databases or AI evaluation systems.
- Knowledge of prompting strategies and model behavior optimization.
