Salary: €85,000–€95,000 per year

What you will do
- Build complex, highly scalable technical solutions for the checkout domain.
- Define architectural decisions and deliver reliable, state-of-the-art products.
- Lead and mentor engineers while collaborating with Product Managers, QAs, Designers, and technical leadership.
- Ship new components and features in an agile SCRUM/Kanban environment.
- Promote engineering best practices and effective use of modern AI tooling.
Requirements
- 10+ years of total software engineering experience, including at least 5–6 years in backend development.
- Extensive experience with PHP 8+ in scalable, high-load environments.
- Deep expertise in Symfony and Laravel, with strong knowledge of MySQL and Redis.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and event-driven architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, AWS, and deployment pipelines such as GitLab.
- Fluent written and spoken English and availability to work in Hamburg or Berlin, Germany.
Nice to have
- Experience with Golang.
- Exposure to Generative AI and related technologies.
