What you will do

• Build and scale platform-level backend services to support Data and AI capabilities.
• Develop and own high-impact features within the core hirify.global product suite.
• Ensure high reliability through advanced testing, TDD, and high test coverage.
• Maintain high code quality via constructive reviews and industry-leading design patterns.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leads to execute technical roadmaps and reduce tech debt.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers to foster technical excellence and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Strong experience building backend services with Python.
• Previous experience developing features in PHP.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL database technologies and data modelling.
• Proven experience designing APIs within a service-oriented environment.
• Strong knowledge of software principles (SOLID, DRY) and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
