What you will do

• Develop secure, high-performance services connecting data systems, AI models, and business applications.
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery and architecture to deployment and monitoring.
• Design and maintain AI applications that streamline workflows and extend automation capabilities.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on new features, experimenting with AI integrations to drive business impact.
• Implement engineering best practices for performance, maintainability, and data security.
• Partner with data engineers and analysts to ensure system ownership and technical alignment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a backend engineer with a track record of scaling production-grade applications.
• Demonstrated experience building AI-driven products including agent orchestration, RAG patterns, and structured outputs.
• Proficiency in cloud-native environments such as AWS, GCP, or Vercel.
• Strong understanding of AI operational realities including latency, cost, and hallucination mitigation.
• Security-focused mindset with experience designing guardrails and evals for AI systems.
• Ability to balance rapid prototyping with long-term architecture planning in a fast-moving environment.
