What you will do
- Develop detailed project budgets and scopes of work for tenant improvement and capital improvement projects.
- Manage the end-to-end bid process, including soliciting, evaluating, and negotiating with general contractors and vendors.
- Oversee multiple concurrent construction projects, maintaining rigorous schedule and budget controls.
- Act as the primary construction point of contact for property management, leasing, and asset management teams.
- Conduct site assessments and due diligence to evaluate existing conditions and identify risks.
- Manage punch lists, project closeout, and warranty processes to ensure seamless turnover.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of commercial construction management experience, specifically with office interiors and tenant improvements.
- Deep understanding of the owner’s representative role and institutional ownership priorities.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications to identify scope gaps and risks.
- Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project; experience with Procore, Honest Buildings, or Yardi is a plus.
- Must be based in Phoenix, AZ, for onsite project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
