What you will do

• Manage a team of Staff and Senior Accountants, delegating workloads and providing coaching and performance reviews.
• Lead the preparation of financial statements for industrial, office, retail, development, and data center projects.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring professional and timely delivery of financial reports.
• Review financial statement packages to ensure accuracy and consistency before submission.
• Collaborate with property management to transition newly managed, acquired, or sold properties.
• Oversee the recording of debt, real estate taxes, depreciation, and owner distributions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Proven history of leading a team of degreed accountants.
• In-depth understanding of cash, accrual, and full GAAP accounting methods.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight under pressure.
