What you will do

• Serve as the primary Controller/Accounting Manager for assigned clients, overseeing all accounting functions.
• Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements for GAAP compliance.
• Analyze financial results to identify trends and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Establish and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and workflows for efficiency.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members while managing client deliverables and engagement scope.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Must be based in the US.
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting, consulting, or outsourced accounting.
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership capacity.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficiency with ERP systems like QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.
