Director, Accounting

Salary: $160,000 - $180,000

What you will do

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure accurate, timely reporting in partnership with FP&A.
• Manage cash balances, lines of credit, and cash flow forecasting.
• Lead the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors on technical accounting matters.
• Supervise tax consultants regarding partnership accounts, K-1s, and compliance filings.
• Develop and implement financial policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and supervise a team of three accounting professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• CPA license required
• Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting and finance
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and federal/state tax laws
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with large ERP systems like Workday or SAP
• Experience in a technology development company
• Proven track record in ERP implementation or accounting process design
