What you will do

• Author functional specifications for high-power and high-density Ethernet switches used in AI networks.
• Perform schematic capture and collaborate with eCAD teams on PCB layout and component footprints.
• Run signal integrity simulations for both power and datapath signals.
• Specify PCB stackup and fabrication details while managing relations with PCB vendors and Contract Manufacturers (CM).
• Lead lab bring-up and debug prototypes, driving complex system resolution between software, hardware, and test teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and train CMs for high-yield test and manufacturing.

Requirements

• BSEE or MSEE degree.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in hardware engineering.
• Proven experience designing Networking Hardware, specifically 100G and 200G PAM4 Ethernet switching.
• Experience with 20+ layer boards featuring 50G+ signals and advanced technologies like sequential lamination and HDI.
• Proficiency with high-speed interfaces such as DDR and PCIe, and multi-phase DC/DC for high current loads.
• Experience taking products from concept through mass production with a focus on Design for Manufacturability (DFM).

Nice to have

• Embedded x86/ARM system design experience.
• FPGA design and system simulation using Verilog.
