What you will do

• Define high-level system design and hardware architecture specifications for new platforms.
• Perform board-level digital circuit design, bring-up, debug, and validation, including high-speed interfaces.
• Develop and maintain CPLD/glue logic using Verilog RTL and related tools.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineering on thermal solutions, system assembly, and overall integration.
• Lead the qualification of optical components, including transceivers and passive splitters.
• Coordinate prototype builds and validation at contract manufacturers and JDM/ODM partners.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of design experience in networking, embedded, or optical products.
• Expertise in high-speed board design with strong knowledge of signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI).
• Experience developing Verilog RTL for CPLDs or similar devices.
• Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers for hardware validation.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid model in Santa Clara, CA
