What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end design and development of complex hardware circuit packs and guide PCB layout.
• Implement design alternatives and select components to satisfy functional, cost, power, and real estate requirements.
• Perform schematic capture and assess signal integrity to ensure high-performance hardware solutions.
• Validate design interfaces against component and commercial requirements to ensure compliance.
• Lead technical investigations to uncover root causes and resolve hardware issues in development and production.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in design practices and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 7+ years of hardware design experience, with a history as a design lead for high layer count circuit packs.
• Deep knowledge of CPUs, Networking devices, FPGA, DDR, PCIe, and FLASH memory.
• Expertise in analog and digital circuit design, including simulation and testing of high-speed SERDES interfaces (56G/112G PAM4).
• Proficiency with Schematic Capture and Layout tools such as Cadence Concept and Allegro.
• Experience in design validation using lab measurement techniques and test equipment.

Nice to have

• Datacom and Telecom experience (400GE/800GE, OTN, PCIe, Pluggable Optics).
• Strong project management skills, including ability to prioritize and delegate.
