Discovery IT System Administrator

Location: Chicago, IL / Detroit, MI / Remote within the United States; hybrid workplace

Salary: $124,895.40–$169,500.90 per year

What you will do

• Maintain the availability, administration, monitoring, configuration, testing, and maintenance of electronic discovery applications and related infrastructure.
• Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and coordinate fixes with vendors and developers.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies across systems and infrastructure.
• Support technical architecture discussions, legacy application reverse engineering, documentation, and knowledge management.
• Support discovery application integrations, migrations, and implementation of cloud-hosted e-discovery platforms.
• Provide end-user training, technical support, subject-matter expertise, and vendor coordination.

Requirements

• Top Secret clearance required.
• Experience and knowledge in legal technology and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).
• Experience supporting backend infrastructure, data migrations, application installation, management, and configuration.
• Ability to install and manage Microsoft Server 2019/2022 and Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022.
• Experience operating cloud technologies including Microsoft Azure, AWS, VMware, Azure Functions, Azure API Gateways, AWS EC2, AWS Lambda, and AWS API Gateways.
• Experience managing relational databases including MySQL and/or SQL Server 2012 or later.
