What you will do

• Build, test, and document aircraft wheel and brake assemblies for commercial and military programs.
• Perform recurring mechanical and electrical troubleshooting independently.
• Use precision inspection equipment including micrometers and torque wrenches.
• Follow established methods, procedures, and sequences in a test environment.
• Coordinate with supervisors to ensure technical adequacy and conformity with instructions.
• Maintain and clean the work area to ensure safety and efficiency in a demanding environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• U.S. Citizenship or US Lawful Permanent Residency.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and complex written procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general PC knowledge.
• Availability to work any of the three shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) and perform overtime as necessary.

Nice to have

• 1+ year of engineering test lab experience.
• Previous experience in automotive, aircraft, or equipment maintenance.
• Secondary education.
