Manufacturing Technician (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Perform non-routine assembly of electronic and mechanical subassemblies, including cable harnesses.
• Use hand/power tools, jigs, and saws for fabrication and hardware rework.
• Interpret engineering sketches, diagrams, and schematics to determine assembly sequences.
• Integrate system hardware and support device teardowns and site installations.
• Travel up to 75-80% of the time to CONUS and OCONUS sites for field installations.
• Document routing steps in Deltek Costpoint and generate nonconforming material reports.

Requirements

• High school diploma and 2–5+ years of welding or structural fabrication experience.
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding and ability to pass a weld test.
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and work in various physical positions for long periods.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to government contract requirements.
• Ability to obtain or maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
• Valid passport for frequent overseas travel.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or simulator manufacturing.
• Prior work on full-motion or fixed-base simulator structures.
• Familiarity with hydraulic, electromechanical, or 6DOF motion systems.
• Experience in an ITAR-regulated manufacturing environment.
