Location: Toronto (Hybrid: office attendance required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays)

What you will do

  • Build and lead a world-class engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members.
  • Implement SDLC best practices to design scalable and resilient systems.
  • Develop performance metrics and reporting mechanisms to monitor system health and reliability.
  • Act as the technical lead on projects, ensuring architectural alignment and on-time delivery.

Requirements

  • Strong software engineering proficiency in Golang, Java, or C#.
  • Demonstrable expertise in designing and developing complex back-end systems.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership/team-building role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to negotiate and find practical compromises.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
