Salary: $152,000 – $190,000 CAD

What you will do

• Lead engineers in designing and delivering scalable architecture and personalized experiences for various customer segments.
• Partner with product and design stakeholders to prioritize the roadmap and define actionable OKRs.
• Recruit, onboard, and grow the engineering team.
• Mentor engineers in technical skillsets, autonomy, communication, and collaboration.
• Ensure engineering best practices, quality, and operational excellence across the team.

Requirements

• Must be based within commuting distance of Burnaby, BC.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience in an engineering leadership role managing small teams.
• Proven track record of delivering complex full-stack or front-end-heavy projects.
• Expertise in Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python (React/React Native familiarity preferred).
• Aptitude for applying AI to developer productivity and product features.
