Manufacturing Excellence Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies such as VSM, Kaizen, 5S, and SMED.
• Deliver Six Sigma projects using DMAIC to reduce variability and improve product quality.
• Design and optimize production layouts using flow simulations and digital twin tools to improve efficiency and ergonomics.
• Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (OEE, scrap rate, cycle time, WIP) and implement corrective actions.
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects, coordinating between internal teams and client stakeholders.
• Train and coach shop floor teams on Lean and Six Sigma tools and best practices.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in manufacturing, production engineering, or operational excellence, ideally in the aerospace sector.
• Proven experience delivering Lean and/or Six Sigma projects in industrial environments.
• Master’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Lean or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is preferred.
• English: Fluent (C1) required.
• Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, CATIA) and flow simulation software.

Nice to have

• French language proficiency.
• Experience in consulting or client-embedded roles.
• Knowledge of aerospace composite manufacturing processes.
