What you will do

• Design and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Lead Kaizen events and apply structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, A3, and DMAIC.
• Develop and maintain standard work instructions and utilize data-driven analysis like SPC and Pareto.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to introduce new products.
• Perform PFMEA, control plans, and risk assessments for manufacturing processes.
• Mentor operators and technicians on lean tools and process updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
• 3–7 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma principles and problem-solving tools (5-Why, Fishbone, PDCA).
• Experience with ERP/MES systems and engineering change control.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent engineering tools.
• Must be based in or able to work at the Jacksonville, FL location.

Nice to have

• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
• Experience in electrical equipment, assembly-based, or industrial manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or related quality management systems.
