TL;DR

Civil Staff Engineering Technician (Nuclear Infrastructure): Supporting the development of high-quality engineering deliverables for nuclear generation projects with an accent on site development, grading, and drainage. Focus on creating and modifying complex site development plans using advanced design tools like Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley MicroStation.

Location: Hybrid (Must be based in the US). Available locations: Overland Park, KS; Chattanooga, TN; Cary, NC; Ann Arbor, MI; Houston, TX.

What you will do

  • Develop and modify technical deliverables for complex nuclear generation infrastructure projects.
  • Create site development plans focusing on grading, drainage, erosion control, and underground utilities.
  • Utilize advanced digital tools including Autodesk Civil 3D, Bentley MicroStation, and Bentley OpenPlant Modeler.
  • Perform detailed design calculations and produce material quantities and estimates.
  • Provide technical guidance to other engineering professionals and technicians to ensure output consistency.
  • Ensure all deliverables comply with project-specific codes, standards, and corporate quality programs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
  • Diploma or Certificate required (Associate or Bachelor's degree in Drafting or Engineering Design preferred).
  • Must be able to satisfy US citizenship requirements outlined in 10 CFR 810.
  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Ability to complete pre-employment background checks, drug screens, and motor vehicle record searches.
