What you will do

  • Own the cloud platform strategy, architecture, and governance for the GCP environment, including IAM, org-level policies, and shared VPCs.
  • Develop and communicate a rolling 12-month Cloud CoE roadmap based on business impact and technical debt.
  • Hire, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of Cloud Engineers through 1:1s, growth plans, and performance reviews.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for cloud topics across AI CoE, Security, FinOps, and acquired companies.
  • Run architecture reviews and decision forums to ensure the platform is observable, cost-efficient, and secure.
  • Monitor and optimize platform performance to identify bottlenecks and ensure efficient scaling for increasing workloads.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with GCP.
  • Deep background in DevOps practices and proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing technical projects and people.
  • Expertise in microservices and distributed systems.
  • Must be located in or able to work from Warsaw, Poland

Nice to have

  • Experience with Cloud Development Environments (CDEs).
  • Contributions to Open Source projects.
  • Experience with AI/ML integration within platforms.
