Financial Controller (SaaS): Managing the entirety of accounting operations for a multi-entity SaaS organization with an accent on GAAP compliance, financial reporting, and internal controls. Focus on scaling accounting functions, leading audit processes, and optimizing financial technologies to support rapid growth.

Location: Hybrid (Hubs in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, and Raleigh). Must be based in the US (excluding AK, HI, KY, MS, NE, NM, ND, RI, SD, WV, WY) or Canada.

Salary: $225,000 Base + 20% Bonus

What you will do

• Oversee all accounting operations including AP, AR, general ledger, payroll, and tax compliance for a multi-jurisdiction SaaS company.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP, including income statements and balance sheets.
• Coordinate annual financial audits and serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
• Evaluate and implement accounting systems and ERP tools to reduce manual processes and support scaling.
• Mentor and develop the accounting team through coaching, training, and performance management.

Requirements

• 10+ years of accounting and finance experience, preferably in fast-growing SaaS or tech environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex financial data.
• Must be based in the US (excluding AK, HI, KY, MS, NE, NM, ND, RI, SD, WV, WY) or Canada.
