TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Wakefield, England

What you will do

  • Manage HR administration including drafting contracts, change letters, and processing DBS checks.
  • Oversee the ticketing system to ensure timely resolution of client HR queries.
  • Provide day-to-day HR advice to managers on health, well-being, recruitment, and attendance.
  • Draft template letters for formal and informal employee relations meetings.
  • Assist with project work, including researching and delivering webinars for target audiences.
  • Support marketing efforts by drafting and proofreading HR blogs and promotional materials.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to commute to Wakefield, England
  • Previous experience in a busy office environment and HR management.
  • Working knowledge of employment law and experience drafting HR policies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Good standard of education equivalent to NVQ Level 3, including GCSE English and Maths (A-C).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

  • CIPD qualification or currently working toward one.
  • Experience providing generalist HR advice to senior leaders.
  • Experience managing employee relations casework.
  • Commercial awareness and interest in business development.
