Location: Remote (Must be currently living in and eligible to work in Canada)

Salary: CAD 85,000 - 108,000 yearly

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including client, licensing, data sharing, and vendor contracts.
• Provide daily legal support to business stakeholders on commercial contracting matters.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, product, privacy, and security teams to address legal and compliance considerations.
• Advise business teams on standard contractual risks, company policies, and terms.
• Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and legal processes to improve efficiency.
• Manage contract workflows and escalate material legal or risk issues to senior counsel.

Requirements

• LL.B. or J.D. and admission to practice law in a Canadian province.
• Must be currently living in and eligible to work in Canada.
• 2–4 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in technology, data, or market research companies.
• Experience drafting and negotiating B2B commercial agreements.
• Familiarity with intellectual property, licensing, and data-related contractual issues.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
